Alfred Keith "Al" Collins, 69, of Syracuse formerly of Morrisville, passed away unexpectedly at home Wednesday, August 27, 2025. He was born in Oneida on July 20, 1956 to Lyle Raymond and Alberta Hammond Collins and attended Morrisville Eaton Central Schools. Al was a dairy farmer on his family's farm, Collins Farm, for several years and was well known throughout Cazenovia working for over 30 years at Buyea's True Value. He loved tending to his garden, playing with his cats, Winston and Newman, watching S.U. Basketball and WWE wrestling. Al was a kind man who was always willing to help his family, friends, neighbors and those in need. He was a member of the Greater Love in Christ Church.
Al is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sally Kellogg Collins of Syracuse; his step-son, Brian Kellogg of Syracuse; two step-daughters, Cathie (Kurt) Rogers of Hubbardsville and Rosemarie Sullivan of Morrisville; his siblings, Dora (Carl) Smith, Ronald (Donica) Collins, Ralph (Robin) Collins, Morris (Tammy) Collins, Olin Collins, Benjamin (Nancy) Collins, Philip (Gail) Collins, Calvin (Joann) Collins, Kevin (Janice) Collins and Linda (Edward) Noble; his sister-in-law, Deirin Collins as well as several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, William Collins.
