Allen Granger, 79, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014, following a brief illness. Allen served in Korea and retired from General Motors in 1994. Originally from Pulaski, NY, he was one of 12 children and the last surviving child of Glenn and Floy Granger. Allen lived at Hardscrabble Road outside of Cazenovia, NY for nearly 40 years with his wife for 56 years, Carol (Moody) Granger. Allen is survived by his wife Carol, and his children: Allen Jr., David, Wayne, Jeffrey, Daren, Gregg, Shawn, Teresa, and Jason, and their spouses, 33 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Allen was predeceased by his son, Nathan Brian Granger. Allen's humor and loving heart will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Calling hours will be from 4-7 PM Monday, December 29, 2014 at Tait Funeral Home, 2333 Fenner Road, Cazenovia, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice & Palliative Care.
