Obituary

Arrow Bradley Hoag, 81, of Fenner, passed away Monday morning at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. She was born March 4, 1935 in Syracuse, a daughter to the late Charles G. and Helen Arrowsmith Bradley. Arrow graduated from Fayetteville Manlius High School and college in Vermont. She was a lifelong farmer selling the best sweet corn in Fenner. Arrow was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, where she taught Sunday School. She also set up a summer church program for the children of migrant workers in the Chittenango area. Arrow was a member of the Farm Bureau and was a volunteer dispatcher for CAVAC. She is survived by her companion, Lynn Vanderworken of Cazenovia; her children, Christina (Christopher) Schmidt and Douglas Hoag both of Arizona; two grandsons, CJ and Thomas; one sister-in-law, Barbara Bradley of North Carolina. A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Rd., Cazenovia. There are no calling hours. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Hoag may be made to CAVAC, P.O. Box 56, Cazenovia, NY 13035.
