Bonita J. “Bonnie” Dixon, 75, of Cazenovia passed away at home Monday, March 9, 2026. She was born in Oneida on April 22, 1950 to Bernard and Margaret Cossitt. Bonnie was a beautician and had been employed by Betty Veeder at the Pink Thumb before transitioning to work from her home. She was employed as a secretary for a brief time before becoming a homemaker. Bonnie found joy in creating unique Christmas gifts that she shared with the community at local craft shows.

       She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Daniel A. Dixon; her daughter, Denise Dixon of Cazenovia; her son, Dennis Dixon of Cazenovia and by her grandson, Taylor Dixon of Canastota. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was predeceased by her brothers, Fred and Theodore Cossitt.

       A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia.
