Charles E. Woodworth, Sr., 84, a life resident of Fenner, died Wednesday at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton. Always a dairy farmer at heart, he loved his family and his church. Charles was a member and former trustee of Perryville United Methodist Church. He was a one-time member of Eastern Milk Producers, Odd Fellows and Fenner Fumblers Baseball Team. Charles was predeceased by his wife, Emmy (1998), sisters Greta and Dorothy, brothers Rodger and LeRoy. Surviving are his children, Pastor Charles "Ed" Woodworth (Christine) of Millers Mills, NY, Pastor Diane WoodworthWright (Greg) of Fenner, Leon Woodworth of Manlius and Mark Woodworth (Jan) of Fenner; his brother Ken Woodworth, Sr. (Jean) of Nelson; Robin Woodworth; his grandchildren, Jacob, Eliza (Gary), Karen, Maggie, Tess, Keith, Jeff, Katie, Molly and Carter; his great-grandchild Leland; dear friend, Norma Bronson. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Tuesday at Perryville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4-7pm on Monday at Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia. Contributions may be made to Perryville United Methodist Church.
