Daniel I. Clements, 70, of Cazenovia died Wednesday, July 30th at University Hospital. Dan was a Communicant of St. James Church. Dan retired from the Madison County Sanitation Department in Wampsville after 27 years. After his retirement, Dan maintained the ball fields at the American Legion Post in Cazenovia . He also maintained the Wilson Cemetery on Bingley Road. Dan will be remembered for always helping neighbors and friends. Dan is survived by his wife Barbara, his sons, Scott (Ann) of New Woodstock and Chris (Pam) of Cazenovia; his grandchildren that he adored, Brian, Andrew, Laura and Lindsey. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, August 5th at St. James Church, 6 Green Street in Cazenovia. Rite of Committal was in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours were held on Monday, August 4th from 4-7pm at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia.
