David H. Hale, 67, of Cazenovia passed away Friday, September 4, 2026. He was born June 25, 1959 in Oneida to Gilbert H. and Laurine M. Roberts Hale. David was a graduate of Cazenovia High School, Class of ’77 and had been employed at Stearns & Wheler and Carpenter’s Manufacturing. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.

       David is survived by his three sisters, Virginia (Richard) Stephens of Manlius, Judy (James) McGinnis and Mary (Mark) Costello of Cazenovia; his sister-in-law, Karen Hale of Cazenovia; his nieces and nephews, Nichole (William) Heinsler, Brian Stephens, Kyle (Katherine) Stephens, Michael (Katherine) McGinnis, Michelle (Christopher) Graham, Katelyn Hale, Christopher Hale, Audrey (Andrew) Hale Schibley and Kali Costello as well as several great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his brothers, Chris and Thomas Hale.

       A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, September 10, 2026 with services to follow at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dave’s memory may be made to CAVAC, 106 Nelson St., Cazenovia, NY 13035.
