David J. Nolan, 89, of Cazenovia and Naples Florida, died Tuesday at his home. He is predeceased by his wife Martha; sisters, Monica Nolan, Ann McDonald and brother Bill. David began his career in banking with Norwich Bank and Trust after graduating from Cornell University. His finance career included Telmark in New Hartford, NY and State Director of Farmer's Home Administration. David retired as Chairman of the Board from Central National Bank in Canajoharie. Surviving are his children, Elizabeth Nethery (Lance) of Koeln, Germany, Peter Nolan (Stepahanie) of Manhattan Beach, CA, Mary Daytz (Peter) of Westport, CT, Joe Nolan of Los Olivos, CA; his grandchildren, Meredith Nethery, Michael Bobby, and Ellie Nolan, Anna and Olivia Daytz; his brothers, Bob of King Ferry, Jim of Port Charlotte, FL; his sisters, Eileen Fitzgerald of Aurora, Ruth Fedrizzi of King Ferry, Betty McGarry of Scipio and Marcia McGee of Westport, CT; several nieces and nephews as well as an extended Cornell University Family. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1PM Saturday at Our Lady of the Lake Church in King Ferry.
