David L. SeGuin, 76, of Erieville passed away peacefully Tuesday morning with his family by his side at the Presbyterian Home in New Hartford. Born in Vernon, a son to the late Lester and Amelia LaGoy SeGuin, David graduated from Eastwood High School in 1958. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and upon his honorable discharge went to work for General Motors as a packaging engineer. During his 30 year career, David attended Syracuse University through the General Motors Management Program. He was a member of the Onondaga Ski Club and the Ski Patrol at Labrador Mountain for 25 years. David was a member of the Summit Church in Cazenovia. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed being at his camp at Robin Wood, fishing, hunting, biking and hiking. David also cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Debbie SeGuin; five children, Karen SeGuin of East Syracuse, Susan O'Reilly of Chittenango, Forrest (Paula) SeGuin of Chittenango, Michelle (Burton) Tibbits of Fayetteville and Holly (Jason) Terhune of Sanford, NC; two brothers, Robert (Nancy) SeGuin of Ellenburg Depot, NY and Dan Wilczak of East Syracuse; a sister, Donna (Kevin) Kamholtz of Canandaigua; 10 grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Summit Church, 21 Lincklaen St., Cazenovia. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Michael E.
