Donna J. Ringland, 72, of Oswego passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at Oswego Hospital. Born in Oswego, a daughter to the late Elmer and Marion Helmlinger, Donna was a homemaker. She had worked at Birds Eye Foods in Fulton and previously attended the Oswego Alliance Church. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James, who died in 1998 and by a sister, Gerry Pluff. Donna is survived by her son, Jim (Katie) Ringland of Oswego; her daughter, Kim (Chris) Anglestein of New Haven; a brother, Mark Helmlinger of Florida; two sisters, Diana (Phillip) Weintraub of Rochester and Irene (Raymond) Oleyourryk of Florida; her sister-in-law, Doris (Leo) Porter; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. Private graveside services will be held in the spring at Riverside Cemetery in Oswego.
