Doris "Dorie" Lucas passed peacefully at home on January 21, 2012. She was born February 21, 1931, to Harold and Hilda Shawl of Oran, NY. Survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ronald Lucas of Cazenovia; her brother, Donald Shawl of Peterboro; and sister, Virginia Cross of Florida; her daughters, Nancy (Dick) Caldwell of North Carolina and Cindy (Chick) Quattrini of Liverpool; her sons, Robert (Susie) Lucas and James (Denise) Lucas, both of Cazenovia; eight grandchildren and three great-granddaughters. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cazenovia United Methodist Church, CAVAC, Hospice of CNY or to a charity of your choice.
