Edgar H. Marris, 83, of Cazenovia died Sunday at his home. Edgar was born on February 13, 1930 in his family's home on Temperance Hill Road, the son of Claude and Blanche Marris. He was a dairy farmer on his family farm and later worked for JC Lucas & Sons. He is predeceased by his siblings, Clara "Sis" McCollum, Della Miller and Claude "Chuck" Marris. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn; his daughter Shelia DiAngelo of Cazenovia and son William (Teresa) Marris of Cazenovia; his siblings, George "Jim" Marris, Esther Minor, Carol "Polly" Morley, Betty "Susie" Grier, Roger Marris, Sally Bishop and Peg "Mary" Vadala; his grandchildren, Emily and Alyssa DiAngelo, Kimberlee and Brady Marris; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held from 12-2pm Saturday with a service to follow at Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia. Contributions may be made to CAVAC.
