Elsie Ann Adams. 91, of Manlius, passed away, Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Menorah Park in Syracuse. She was born September 5, 1930 in Syracuse to Ward E. and Charlotte A. Bambury. In her younger years, she was a member of the Camp Fire Girls and the Phoenix High School Garden Club. Elsie was a homemaker and had been an executive secretary for the New York State Education Department for 10 years until her retirement in 1960. She enjoyed volunteering at the Manlius Public Library. Elsie is survived by her husband, whom she married August 15, 1953, Reginald M. Adams of Syracuse; two sons, Bruce MacKenzie (Annie) Adams of Urbana, IL and Robert Douglas (Kathy) Adams of Winnabow, NC; three grandchildren, Lindsay Larue, Nicolette Baker and Taylor Adams. There are no calling hours. Private graveside services for the family will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
