Eugene H. Vibbert (Gene), 79, of Eaton, died Tuesday at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton. Gene was a resident of Eaton for 39 years. He retired from Allied Chemical after 38 years where he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic. Gene also worked for SUNY Morrisville as a "garbologist" and a mechanic for William Kelly Builders and Kellish Tire in Pompey. Surviving is his wife Betty of Eaton; his children, Daniel L. (Donol) of Baltimore, MD; Dale E. of Chittenango and Annette (Michael) Cordell of Erieville; his grandchildren, Michael, Brandon and Jason and one great grandchild, Dylan. He is also survived by his favorite aunt Lillian Felix. Calling hours will be from 11 - 1 on Saturday at Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia with a service to follow.
