Obituary

Gertrude S. Ramich, 84, of Crystal River, Florida formerly of Cazenovia passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021. She was born November 1, 1936 in Perryville to Henry and Christine Siebenbaum. Gertrude was the co-owner of C.W. Jones Incorporated and Jones Carr Wash. She had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cazenovia and the Leonard Society. Gertrude moved to Florida 32 years ago, where she had been employed at K Mart for several years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Red Hat Society. In her free time, Gertrude enjoyed cross stitching and going to estate sales. She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Lloyd) Lovely of Cazenovia and Debi (Dan) Phinney of Cazenovia; her brother, Walter "Butch" (Myrtle) Siebenbaum of Wisconsin; her sisters, Anna Hogan of Perryville and Ruthy Kinney of Ocala, FL; her brother-in-law, Francis "Sonny" Van Duesen of Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Gertrude was predeceased by her son, David Charles Jones; her husband, Dale Ramich and by her sisters, Olga Olcott and Ingeline "Chick" Van Duesen. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery in Cazenovia.
