Irene H. Ryan, 93, of Cazenovia, formerly of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. She was born in Syracuse, a daughter to the late, John and Katherine Hoslyk and was a homemaker. Irene graduated from business school in Syracuse and enjoyed reading, knitting and watching football. In addition to her parents, Irene was predeceased by her first husband, Duane B. Hamlin; her second husband, Ray M. Ryan; a son, Terry Hamlin and her sister, Helen Boehner. Irene is survived by her children, Cheryl J. (C. William) Dunn of Cazenovia and Mark J. (Heika) Hamlin of Seeburg, Germany; four step-children, Sharon (Ken) Gresk of Manchester, CT, Jim (Joan) Ryan of Liverpool, David (Jeanne) Ryan of Cazenovia and Fay (Joan) Ryan of Oneida; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. There are no calling hours. Private services for the family will be held at a later date. Michael E. Brown Funeral Services is assisting the Ryan family.
