Jacqueline Rose Marris, 87, of Oriskany Falls, Formerly of Erieville, died Friday at Community Memorial Hospital Extended Care Facility in Hamilton. She was born in Oswego, NY to Joseph and Mary Power Olski on April 29, 1925. She married Sherrill "Mick" Marris on May 4, 1946. A longtime resident of Erieville, she moved to Oriskany Falls in 2005. She was a Communicant of St. James Church in Cazenovia. She was a member of the Erieville Cornell Club. Surviving are her sons, Patrick Dale "Rick" (Sheila) of Arizona, Sherrill Michael "Mickey" (Sonia) of Oriskany Falls and Joseph Martin "Joe" (Maureen)of Buffalo; 7 grandchildren: Julie, Greg, Amy, Amber, Anthony, Jackie, & Nora; 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her brother, Patrick of Connecticut. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Thursday December 27th at St. James Church, 6 Green Street in Cazenovia. Calling hours will be from 4-7 Wednesday December 26th at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Rd. Cazenovia. Rite of Interment will be in the spring in Erieville Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Erieville Fire Department.
