Janet Lathrop, 68, of Jamesville died Sunday at her home. Janet retired from the policies services department of Farmers & Traders Insurance Company in Syracuse after 35 years of employment. She enjoyed being with family and being outdoors. She is predeceased by her father Henry Lathrop Sr., her mother Jennie Lathrop and brother Henry Lathrop, Jr. Surviving are her sisters, Elizabeth Stoker of Sackets Harbor, Henrietta Dobrovech and Barb Groth, both of Jamesville; 8 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1PM Friday at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc. 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens in DeWitt. Calling hours will be from 5-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
