Jeffrey K. O’Hara, 36, of Elmira passed away at home Saturday, July 18, 2026. He was born October 13, 1989 in Rochester to Thomas W. and Annelise L. Koennecke O’Hara. Jeff was a graduate of Elmira Free Academy and Buffalo University. He was employed as an operator with the Elmira Water Board. He loved nature specifically gardening and hiking. Jeff was an avid reader who enjoyed studying chemistry and physics.

       He is survived by his father, Thomas W. O’Hara of Chenango Forks; his brother, Benjamin O’Hara of Elmira; his sister, Bethany O’Hara of Syracuse as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Annelise L. Koennecke O’Hara.
