Karl Joseph Ammann, 95, of Cazenovia, died Thursday at his home. Karl was born in Albany Wisconsin. He has resided in Cazenovia for 90 years. He was a toolmaker for Prosperity Company, and retired in 1976 as an Occupational Education Instructor for the Syracuse School District. He is predeceased by his brother, Edwin. Surviving are his wife Clara; his daughters, Carol Bayer, Rosemarie Hnatow and Arlene Luley; her sister, Mary Robotti; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10am Monday at St. Ann's Church in Manlius. Burial will be in Nelson Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-7 Sunday at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc. 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia.
