Kathryn A. Jones, 76, of Morrisville passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at home. She was born in Syracuse on December 31, 1948 to Clifford D. and Mary Kennedy Jones. Kathy was a graduate of Morrisville High School, Class of '67 and earned her Bachelor's degree in Library Science from S.U.N.Y. Geneseo in 1971. She was employed at P.E. Mulligans while attending college and retired from Stearns & Wheler as a bookkeeper on January 10, 2014 after 37 years of service. Kathy was a member and treasurer of the Welsh Church in Nelson. She loved her cats and enjoyed traveling especially to Ireland, Wales and to the west coast of the United States. Kathy was the family historian and enjoyed doing genealogy research. Kathryn is survived by her siblings, Elizabeth (Donald) Currier of Fort Mill, SC, David (Sheila) Jones of Morrisville, Ellen (Christopher) Lamphier of East Syracuse, Daniel (Catherine) Jones of Jordan and Jane (Duaine) Alderman of Morrow, OH; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her niece, Danielle Jones. A calling hour will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2025 with services to follow at the Welsh Church, 3720 Welsh Church Road, Erieville, NY.
