Lenora "Nora" Bobbette, 85, of Fabius passed away Monday, May 19, 2025. She was born August 11, 1939 in Pompey and was the last surviving child of 10 to Frank and Lena Heffernan. Nora touched the lives of a lot of families by providing day care to many children in Fabius as well as being a second grandmother to some of them. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing board games with her grandchildren. She also spent many hours completing jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Nora is survived by her children, Beth (Rick) Bower, Brenda (Doug) Tily, Pat (Fred) Greenfield, Donna (Ken Purcell) Alnutt, Laurie (Brian Hille) Bobbette, Amy Bobbette and daughter-in-law, Nancy Bobbette; 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Edwin; her son, Edwin Bobbette, Jr.; her grandson, Kevin Bower and by her great granddaughter, Mary VanDyke.
