Leta Hunt Riedl, 70, of Cazenovia died March 17th at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. Born in Albany, Leta had lived in Cazenovia since 1972, previously living in south Carolina. Leta obtained her LPN from BOCES in Lakeland. Leta had served as the Animal Control Officer for the Town of Cazenovia in the mid -nineties. She had previously worked as a private health care nurse as well as a nurse at Gerritt- Smith Infirmary in Eaton. Surviving are her sons, Kenny Riedl of Cazenovia and Leon Moody of Denver, CO; and her sister Joyce Gay of Fenner. She is predeceased by her son, Scott Moody; her husband Harrison Riedl and her sister Hazel Burke. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21st at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia. Calling hours will be from 5-7 Friday at the funeral home.
