Lloyd E. Lovely, 68, a lifetime resident of the Town of Fenner, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Lloyd was born August 4, 1953 in Oneida to A. Lloyd and Margaret Lovely and was a graduate of Cazenovia High School in 1971. While in high school, he started working at Bob Dorrance's farm and Cody Farms which began a lifelong passion for farming. In 1976, he married Susan Jones and began their family in the hills of Fenner. In 1983, Lloyd and Sue established Lovely Hills Dairy Farm and enjoyed teaching his daughters and grandchildren the skills involved to operate a farm. Lloyd was known for lending a helping hand to those in need, sharing his wealth of knowledge and always giving words of encouragement to his fellow farmers. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan J. Lovely; his three daughters, Lisa (Kyle) Hirt of New Woodstock, Sara (Mike) Booth of Watertown and Laura (Jason) Coon of Fenner; his sister, Suzan (Gene) Ryder of Fenner and by his grandchildren, Abby, Maggie, Kylee, Alexis and Logan. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia.
