Marilyn A. Marris, 84, of Cazenovia, passed away Saturday morning at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. She was born in Syracuse, a daughter to the late Calvin and Adeline Hand Wallingford and lived all her life in Cazenovia. Marilyn worked alongside her husband on their family farm and she was a daycare provider for several years. Marilyn enjoyed playing Solitaire, gardening and mowing her lawn. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edgar H. Marris who died February 9, 2014. Marilyn is survived by her children, Sheila A. Marris of Nelson and William (Teresa) Marris of Cazenovia; a brother, Frances (Wanda Wyatt) Wallingford of Cazenovia; four grandchildren, Emily (Russell) Schaefer, Alyssa DiAngelo, Kimberlee Marris and Brady Marris as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m., Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Rd., Cazenovia. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service. Private burial will be in Oran Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Marris may be made to CAVAC, P.O.
