Marilyn J. Slauson, 84, of Oran, passed away Monday afternoon at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. She was born in Cazenovia to Merwin and Mabel Hughes and was a graduate of Cazenovia High School in 1953. Marilyn resided in Oran from 1960 until 2014 and retired from Bristol Myers Squibb as an Administrative Assistant. She was a member and past State President of the Rebekah Lodge in Cazenovia. Marilyn enjoyed bowling, golf and decorating floats for the Rose Bowl Parades.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bernie and Peggy Hughes of Cazenovia and by her four nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul Slauson in 1961 and by her brother, Robert Hughes in 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Rd., Cazenovia. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
