Marilyn Joyce Smith of Fairmount passed away on December 15, 2023. Marilyn was born in Cazenovia, New York on November 15, 1944 to Orville Clark and Phyllis Hunt Clark and was a graduate of Cazenovia High School. She was the Town Clerk for the Town of Camillus for eight of the for 20 years she was employed. Marilyn also worked as the receptionist and secretary for Dr. Gramsy, optometrist for many years. She was the best mother, grandmother and friend. Marilyn had several life-long friends, whom she loved as family and will be remembered for her kindness, quick-wit and keen sense of humor. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 53 years, David Allen Smith; her children, Roseanne Jones and David Smith II, as well as her grandchildren Justin Smith, Margaret Jones and Bradley Jones.
