Mark A. Davies, 55, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, formerly of Aurora, Colorado and Cazenovia, New York passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026. He was born in Syracuse on August 9, 1971 to Gerald and Genevieve Corbett Davies. Mark enjoyed spending time at his family’s camp in the Adirondacks. He earned his Eagle Scout award from Boy Scout Troop 107 in Perryville. Mark was a graduate of Cazenovia High School, Class of ’89 and attended Kent State University in Ohio. While in college, Mark served in the Army Reserves. After college he moved to Aurora, Colorado where he was an active member of New Heights Baptist Church. He resided there until 2022 when he decided to move to Sierra Vista, Arizona and was a member of the Mountain Vista Baptist Church. In his free time, Mark enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to music.

       He is survived by his father, Gerald A. Davies of Cazenovia; his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Trish Davies of Marion, New York; his nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Ian, Joshua, Sarah, Rachael, Amanda and Levi. He was predeceased by his mother, Genevieve Corbett Davies.

       Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2026 at the Union Cemetery of the Town of Nelson, Welsh Church Road, Cazenovia. Condolences for the Davies family may be shared at www.michaelebrownfuneralservices.com.
