Marlene B. Emmons, 81, died Monday January 23rd at Crouse Community Center. She attended Holy Cross Carmelite Monastery in Iron Mountain, MI. She taught art in California and loved to read. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her niece Ginny O'Hara of Cazenovia and nephew Thomas Owen Emmons of Michigan; great-Nieces, Heather O'Hara of Fayettevile and Casey Emmons of South Carolina; great-Nephews Sean O'Hara and Ryan O'Hara of Boston, Erik Emmons, Joshua Emmons, Cody Emmons and Stephen Meharg all of Michigan. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday January 27th at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Hamilton. Burial was in St. James Cemetery in Cazenovia. Contributions may be made to Worn Again Thrift Shop, 45 Lebanon St., Hamilton, NY 13346. Arrangements were through Tait Funeral Home, Inc.
