Martin "Marty" Diamond, 83, of Erieville, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023. He was born March 16, 1940 in New York City to Abraham and Ruby Diamond. Marty was a self-employed contractor and had owned several taverns. As a gun enthusiast, Marty was a member of the Pompey Rod & Gun Club, an avid deer hunter, enjoyed trap shooting and he and his wife taught hunter safety courses. He enjoyed assisting his wife showing draft horses and spending time with his family. Marty is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon; his sons, Alan Diamond of Dewitt and Scott Diamond of Syracuse; his brother, Sheldon (Sandra) Diamond of Florida; three grandchildren and one great granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Gerald Diamond. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
