Maxine F. Ott passed on to The Lord Monday, May 19th at her home. Maxine hailed from Cleveland, OH where she pursued a career in nursing before becoming a homemaker and moving to Lakeland, FL to raise her family. She was a dedicated, loving mother to her three daughters and equally devoted to her five grandchildren. She loved laughing and used her humor and wit to uplift others and find the silver lining we all look for. She is preceded in death by her husband James D. Ott and her parents John and Magdalene Kovelan. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryll Ott, Chrissy (Todd) Dewey and Monique Ott; her grandchildren, Keyanna Gardner and James, Sarah, Emma and Leah Dewey; her siblings, Jackie (Frank) Simmons, John (Linda) Kovelan and Alan Kovelan; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Jeremy, Jackie, Christy, John, Carly, James, Scott and 9 great nieces and nephews. Services were private. A burial will take place in Lakeland, FL.
