Robert John Riedl, 55, of Cazenovia, passed away suddenly June 16, 2014. He was born April 6, 1959 and lived his entire life in Cazenovia. Bob, an avid athlete, graduated from Cazenovia High School where he excelled in football, hockey and baseball. He graduated from Ithaca College with a major in business. He was a self-employed real estate appraiser for more than 16 years as Fidelity Appraisals and loved playing golf. He was predeceased by his brother David, Jr. and his parents, Brenda and David, Sr. Surviving are his children, Taylor P. and Jackson R., both of Cazenovia; brother James of Cazenovia; sister Pamela (Kyle) Kleine of East Syracuse; half-brother Matt Riedl of California; nephews Joey Riedl of Cazenovia, Max (Erin) Kennedy of Manhattan and Cameron Kennedy of Manlius. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27th at St. James Church, 6 Green St. in Cazenovia. The family will receive immediately following the service.
