Ruby B. Pfohl, 79, of Pompey went peacefully into Heaven on Monday, April 25. She was the oldest of eight children and lived most of her life in Pompey Center. Ruby was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Manlius. Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Albert, who died January 11, 1994; a granddaughter, Melody Joy Pfohl, who died in 2006 and by a grandson, David G. Pfohl, who died in 2009. She is survived by four sons, Wendell (Maryann) Pfohl of Pompey, Warren (Brenda) Pfohl of Manlius, Wayne (Jo Ann) Pfohl of Cobleskill and Walter (Ann) Pfohl of Rochester; six siblings; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Manlius. Calling hours are 12 noon to 3 p.m., Saturday at the church, 408 Pleasant St., Manlius. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ruby may be made to David's Refuge, 8195 Cazenovia Rd., Manlius, NY 13104. Michael E.
