Ruth W. Gifford, 86, of Cazenovia passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026. She is survived by her husband, Dean W. Bender of Cazenovia; her sons, Rick (Sharon) Gifford of Cazenovia and Rodney (Lori) Gifford of Manlius; her daughter, Debra (John) Richer of Cazenovia; three brothers; one sister; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Norman Gifford; her daughter, Rebecca Valentino and by her daughter-in-law, Lisa Gifford.

       Private graveside services will be held at St. James Cemetery in Cazenovia.
