Ruth F. Neuhaus, 93, of Syracuse, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 23. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Rev. Edward and Camilla Fielden. She will be remembered as a beloved wife of 65 years, mother, grandmother, and friend. As devout Christians, Ruth and her husband Carter were active in Eastern Hills Bible Church since its founding year. Ruth's love of music dates back to her teens, when she and her sisters formed the Fielden Trio, and sang in churches and on the radio in the Philadelphia area. She is predeceased by her husband, Carter and her sister, Laurine Shipley. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Esther Brooke Nixon (Michael) of Winfield, IL, Sue Hanselman (David) of Manlius, and Danielle Richardson (Ron) of Baldwinsville; her sister, Roberta Sanders; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at Eastern Hills Bible Church (EHBC) on Friday, December 5 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in her memory, to EHBC.
