Stephanie R. Brown, 45, of Syracuse, formerly of Perryville, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at Crouse Hospital due to an extended illness. She was born in Syracuse to Donald E. and Nan Brown and was a graduate of Cazenovia High School in 1992. Stephanie was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church and attended Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake. She was a Certified Nurse's Aide and had been employed with Sunnyside Care Center.

Stephanie is survived by her brothers, Theodore "Ted" Brown of Illinois, David Brown of Chittenango and Daniel (Terisa) Brown of Canastota as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Stephanie was predeceased by her sister, Donna Kellogg and her brothers, John Brown and Jamie Brown.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Open Door Baptist Church, 3019 State Route 13, New Woodstock, New York. A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
