Susan Grace Burtenshaw, 98, of Cazenovia died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. Grace was born in Coleridge, Nebraska on June 1, 1918, the daughter of the late, Finley and Flora Grace Bobbette of Cazenovia. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William Burtenshaw, who died in 1992 and her ten brothers and sisters, Carl Bobbette, Charles Albert Bobbette, Edward Bobbette, Thelma Bobbette, Beulah Webster, Helen Barber, Mildred Sweet, Lyndel Bobbette, Otwell Bobbette and Ruth Lamar. Grace is survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Crouse Community Center for the compassionate care they provided to Grace for the past two years. There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Rd., Cazenovia. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
