Thomas E. "Tom" Hale, 54, of Cazenovia, passed away unexpectedly Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Tom graduated from Cazenovia High School in 1979 and was a lifelong resident of the Cazenovia-Fenner area. He was a salesman for 20 years with Cavallaro Specialty Foods in Syracuse. Tom was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed snowmobiling, spending time by the campfire with his children and spending time with his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Gilbert H. Hale, who died April 27, 1998 and Laurine M. Hale, who died June 9, 2008; and by a brother, Chris G. Hale, who died December 20, 2000. Tom is survived by his wife of 21 years, Karen S. Hale of Cazenovia; his children, Katelyn E. and Christopher J. Hale both of Cazenovia; three sisters, Virginia (Richard) Stephens of Manlius, Judy (James) McGinnis of Cazenovia and Mary (Mark) Costello of Cazenovia; a brother, David Hale of Cazenovia as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, Cazenovia. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Cazenovia.
