Virginia K. Baker-Simmons, 75, of DeRuyter passed away at home on Sunday, June 21, 2026. She was born October 20, 1950 in Syracuse and was a graduate of DeRuyter High School. She had been employed as a Quality Control Technician at Dielectric Laboratories in Cazenovia and was a homemaker.

       She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Rusty) Randall of Lincklaen; her son, Eric J. Baker of DeRuyter; five grandchildren, Adriana Baker, Torrie Randall, Kenny Randall, Damien Baker and Joshua Baker.
