Warren D. Roberts, 71, of Chittenango, passed away Thursday evening at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Chittenango, a son to the late William and Bertha Roberts and attended Cazenovia schools. Warren served in the U.S. Army from 1962 until 1964. Warren retired from Oberdorfer Foundry in Syracuse where he worked for 43 years. He enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife of 51 years, Victoria L. Roberts; four children, Barbara J. Roberts, Bonnie (Mike) Porter, Dennis Roberts and Stacy (Tim) Purtell all of Chittenango; a brother, Floyd Roberts of Kirkville; seven grandchildren; one great grandson as well as several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. Private graveside services will be held in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Cazenovia.
