Wayne Myers, 73, of Cazenovia, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at home. Wayne resided in Cazenovia for the past 30 years and had previously lived in Syracuse and Jamestown. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964 to 1965. Wayne then entered the U.S. Air Force Reserves where he served for 16 years as a telecommunications technician. Upon his discharge from the Reserves, Wayne worked as a technician for several telephone companies throughout Central New York. Wayne loved classic cars. Wayne was predeceased by his wife, Ann Marie Olsen-Myers who died October 16, 2013 and by a brother, Allan Myers. He is survived by his children, Richard Spoor of Solvay, Debra Kemp of Nicholasville, Kentucky and Kathleen Burdick of Chittenango; his sister-in-law, Lorna Myers; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services are 12 noon, Friday, October 30, 2015 at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, Cazenovia. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours are 10 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, October 30 at the funeral home, 2333 Fenner Rd., Cazenovia.
