William R. LaRose, 91, of Cazenovia, died Wednesday at Loretto. William was an Army Veteran of WW II serving as a Sergeant in the Infantry. He was a graduate of RPI where he attained a Bachelors of Science in Engineering. William was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cazenovia where he was an Elder. He was a former member of Willowbank Yacht Club, the Cazenovia Golf Club, and RPI Alumni Association. He is predeceased by his wife Marjorie in 2010. Surviving are his daughters, Barbara L. Keller of East Syracuse, Ann E. LaRose of Virginia and Virginia R. LaRose of Cazenovia; his granddaughter, Jennifer L. Brewster (D.J.) of East Syracuse; his brother, James of Connecticut and step brother, Al Johnson of Arizona; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held 2 PM Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church of Cazenovia. Calling hours will be from 4-7 Monday at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc. 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia.
