Zachary Lee Barringer, 13, of Cicero died Tuesday at University Hospital. Zachary was a student at Gillette Road Middle School. Zachary had a passion for sports. His favorite professional football team was the Eagles and his favorite college team was the Florida Gators. Zach played pop warner football for the Cicero Falcons and CNY Flag Football. Zach also loved basketball and was an SU fan. He played on the modified team for St. Rose of Lima. Surviving are his parents, Randy (Lori Napier) Barringer of E. Syracuse and Melissa (Rob Darling and his children) Barringer of Cicero; his siblings Dominic Joseph Reppi, III of Cicero and Zoey Barringer of E. Syracuse; his maternal great-grandmother Dorothy Hall; maternal grandparents Dorothy (Ron) Gustafson of E. Syracuse; paternal grandparents Garry Barringer of Holland Patent and Terry (Nick) Minozzi of Fort Lauderhill, FL; several aunts and cousins. He will be truly missed by his family and his friends. Calling hours will be held from 3-7pm Monday with a service to follow at the Cicero United Methodist Church, 8416 Brewerton Rd in Cicero.
